After two days of travel aboard the RV Celtic Explorer, we’ve finally reached our first site, Fangorn! The ROV has been deployed, and we’re now collecting samples. #PoRoCLIM

After 3 successful ROV dives, we’ve collected three batches of samples! Now, it's time to head to our next location. 🌊🔬

We've reached our next location and are now towing the magnetometer along our survey lines! Exciting to watch the magnetic data roll in. #PoRoCLIM

Following three successful survey profiles with the magnetometer, we’re heading back to Galway due to a medical complication onboard. Safety is our top priority as we seek medical attention. Stay tuned for updates. 🚢 #POROCLIM2

With the medical emergency resolved, we’ve returned to the work area, but incoming storms prevent us from continuing POROCLIM research in the Rockall Basin. Now, we’re heading off the North Kerry coast to deploy the ROV for sample collection. 🌊 #OceanExploration #ScienceAtSea
