The Marine Institute is now generating onsite renewable energy having installed two solar PV rooftop systems. ☀️♻️

783 panels, producing up to 291,611 kWh/year of electricity, have been installed in the Institute’s Oranmore, Co Galway Headquarters and a smaller 76 panel system,

The Marine Institute’s @ExplorersEdu and Mayo Ed Centre Centre are delighted to include the new ‘Learning about Tides’ film in the Explorers online CPD teachers training course being held this summer (1st July – 16th August).
