The day I received my first Covid vaccine one was one the most memorable in my medical career. I was treating patients with a virus we did not know how to treat and were dying in huge numbers in front of my eyes daily. Getting some protection from that was an enormous relief.

When I heard about the Covid mRNA vaccines, I was hoping those were the ones I would get. The science behind it is just genius. I did get an mRNA vaccine and I'm glad of it.

Some (not all) of the ‘expert’ replies to this are worrying. AI / tech should help us provide human care by supporting us. Some leaders seem to think that progress is a relationship with a click box form while humans serve the machines.

"There are no Amish with autism" There are "Vaccines aren't tested against placebo" They are "MMR has never been studied as a possible cause of autism" It has. It's not the cause. I apparently need to say this stuff over and over and over and over again. And again.

The Covid vaccines saved tens of millions of lives and cut the pandemic short. One of the greatest scientific triumphs in human history.
