Thanks to Helen McArdle for expertly chairing the The Herald Health Summit. Great to share the stage and ideas with Donald Macaskill Hugh Pearson and Lindsey Pope RCPEdin
1/2 #Parkinsons is increasingly present in #carehomes . It has also been a huge presence in my life since my mum was diagnosed at 49...16yrs ago. There isn't enough holistic & timely support for people living with Parkinson's, we focus too much on cure & early intervention...
Pleased to see the start today of the legal right to 5 days unpaid #CarersLeave but we can and should do so much more for #unpaid carers who contribute so much to our society. Well done to Wendy Chamberlain MP for achieving this.
Agree wholeheartedly Donald Macaskill - great discussions highlighting we are all doing the best we can in challenging times. And how important the time and space for cross system thinking and working could be in the times ahead! Thanks The Herald
Thank you to RCPEdin for sponsoring #HeraldLiveHealthSummit24 and to our panellists Lindsey Pope Hugh Pearson Donald Macaskill Conor Maguire 👇
