The February 1st bombings were an attack on all of Kurdistan. Today, we honor the martyrs and reaffirm the importance of unity in the face of adversity and tyranny.

We’re in a transition, but not without direction. At #WGS25, I shared our vision for Kurdistan’s path forward: reform, development, and a government that knows its role, not as a barrier, but as a regulator and facilitator of growth and opportunity.

I am in Doha on an official visit today and I had the pleasure of meeting H.E. Prime Minister محمد بن عبدالرحمن. We are aligned on building on the strong friendship between our peoples and expand our ties across sectors. We also exchanged views on developments in Iraq and the region.

I wish a happy Eid to everyone celebrating in Kurdistan, Iraq and around the world. Have a blessed and happy Eid holiday.

Less than a year ago, we promised to solve Erbil's water shortage for the next 30 years with a $480 million investment. Today, we delivered on that promise. Clean 24-hour water now flows to neighborhoods in Erbil in the first phase of the Emergency Water Project.

The people of Kurdistan will never forget these atrocities. We must remember, Kurdistan has paid the ultimate sacrifice for its rights and its freedom, and we will never give up. I salute the martyrs of the Barzani Genocide and all the martyrs of Kurdistan.
