#Wetlands are disappearing 3x faster than forests due to #pollution, #agriculture, and #urbanexpansion. These #ecosystems are lifelines for biodiversity, water purification, and climate resilience. Yet, we keep draining them. Once gone, they don’t come back. #SaveOurWetlands

#Wetlands are nature’s secret superheroes silently protecting us from floods, filtering our #water, and sustaining life. Yet, we keep draining, #polluting, & destroying them. Every lost wetland is a lost #climatebuffer, a lost water source, a lost habitat. #SaveOurWetlands

My participation at UN Land and Drought #COP16 last year was very productive. Championing land restoration with other stakeholders paved the way for meaningful partnerships and long-term collaborations. Looking forward to seeing more people advocate for land rights!
