Workshop on Chemicals in Products(CiPs) Initial Assessment. Zim has legislated various mechanisms aimed at reducing health & environmental risks associated with adverse effects of chemicals but only restricted to discrete chemicals without covering Chemicals in Products (CiPs).

Bulilima was a hive of activity as EMA celebrated belated Africa Environment Day with awareness campaigns at several schools in the district. Land degradation & solid waste management challenges were discussed with pupils.

EMA held capacity building workshops for ZRP officers in Gweru, Mvuma, Kwekwe and Gokwe. The workshops were meant to capacitate the officers on Environmental legislation with an emphasis on waste management, hazardous substances and water pollution.
