MERALCO Spokesman Joe Zaldarriaga ipinaliwanag ang dahilan ng P0.63/kwh na dagdag singil sa kuryente sa paparating na August 2025 billing.

MERALCO Spokesman Joe Zaldarriaga, nagbabala sa mga konsyumer lalo na ang mga senior citizens kaugnay sa mga text scams na nagkukunwaring may refund umano ang konsyumer pero ang target ay makuha ang impormasyon ng customer.

MERALCO, ipinaliwanag kung bakit mas mataas ang singil nila kumpara sa 90 electric cooperatives sa bansa. Mas mahal kasi ang kuryenteng galing sa mga plantang pinapatakbo ng natural gas. Ayon sa Meralco, obligado silang suportahan ang natural gas bilang "transition fuel".

NGCP Spokesperson Cynthia Alabanza, ipinaliwanag kung bakit mahigit P28 BILLION pa ang kailangan nilang singilin sa lahat ng mga konsyumer sa buong bansa para sa underrecoveries ng 2016-2022 pa lang. Hiwalay pa ang kailangang i-recover ng NGCP mula 2022 hanggang ngayon.

NGCP, hindi pa rin masaya sa mahigit P28 BILLION na irerekober sa lahat ng mga konsyumer sa bansa. Kulang pa raw ito sa lahat ng pinuhunan nila sa iba't ibang proyekto mula 2016-2022. Umarangkada na ang DAGDAG SINGIL na halos P0.04/kwh ngayong buwan na tatagal ng 7 taon.

Diesel at kerosene lang ang malamang may ROLLBACK next week, ang presyo naman ng gasolina pataas. So far: Diesel P1.19/L ⬇️ Gasoline P0.009/L ⬆️ Kerosene P1.11/L ⬇️ 1 more trading day today. Sana hwag nang lumobo ang increase sa gasolina .🙏

Alamin magkano ang final estimates ng DAGDAG-BAWAS next week, Aug. 19, 2025!
