Happy Birthday Kyiv. 1543 years old today. A beautiful, European city under barbarous Russian assault. Capital of a free, proud and courageous nation. ‘Good Lord, protect Ukraine. Give her strength, courage, faith, hope’

Две школы: 1. Eesti - Нарва, Эстония 2. Школа №2 - Ивангород, Россия Стоят в 2 километрах друг от друга. Но одна находится в загнивающей Европе и стране НАТО, а вторая - в великой империи

Russia may prohibit companies that left Russia from buying back their Russian assets. Just a reminder according to the Russian government not one company has officially asked them to re-enter the Russian market. kommersant.ru/doc/7755068

Excellent. The EU wants a "Black Sea Maritime Security Hub" to protect critical maritime infrastructure. “The hub would focus on things such as submarine cables, offshore installations, and gas/wind energy operations off Romanian and Bulgarian shores.” rferl.org/a/eu-black-sea…

Moldova's Ziarul de Gardă has won the European Press Prize's Investigative Reporting Award for its investigation into pro-Russian fugitive oligarch Ilan Șor and the Kremlin's interference in MD domestic politics. A great reminder to subscribe to ZdG ...

But private companies in CN still move parts across the border “It’s hard to believe the government doesn’t know what’s going on. It feels they are turning a blind eye to it or maybe even quietly approving. If they wanted to stop this kind of trade, they could do so instantly”

Pressure is truly needed, pressure on Russia that should bring it back to reality. Pressure through sanctions. Pressure from our forces. Pressure through diplomacy. All of it must work together.

Putin invaded Ukraine and slaughtered tens of thousands. Now — in an op straight out of the Mossad playbook — Ukraine just wiped out 30% of Russia’s nuclear-capable strategic bombers. America should be applauding 👏

These are functionally Moscow’s terms from March 2022 — in case anyone still can’t figure out if Moscow wants “peace”. Time to crank up the economic pressure.

Nabiullina is perpetually under pressure — but imo, she will run the Central Bank for as long as Putin sees inflation and an overheating economy as a threat to regime stability.

Agreed. It functionally boils down to whether or not PAS leadership would rather stomach a bad coalition instead of going into the opposition. Plenty of unpalatable outcomes in September — but how much better is a PAS/Alternativa coalition than a PRSM/Alt/Shor one?

Excluding China from Ukraine’s CRM development is essentially written into the US-Ukraine natural resources deal to the effect of, roughly, “no state that contributed to or helped finance the Russian war effort should be allowed to profit from Ukraine’s recovery.”
