we talk about anticipatory grief for families of loved one diagnosed with dementia but more and more I am considering the grief of the person themselves as their world changes I don't think we talk with or about that person enough #losingmygriponmylife

What happens in older patients who are very physically frail or have dementia which makes them especially susceptible to delirium? This is one of the most important clinical problems in geriatrics, but it shames me to say that we are nowhere near a coherent solution on this.

Dave Weisman Ian Tobin We are safe in the EU and UK where regulators don't approve on the basis of *potential* value. But congratulations to Biogen, they've pulled off what can only be described as a huge dementia "heist". I think their behaviour has been deplorable, they've had their enablers and won.
