As part of raising awareness for Stroke prevention I am planning to run 1500 miles this year. # NHS 1500 miles to prevent strokes. Have clocked 160 miles in January. Blood pressure is the major risk factor for strokes. Hence encouraging everyone to get your pressure checked.

3 back-to-back thrombectomies this morning with full cerebral revascularization achieved! Huge kudos to the Anaesthetic, Interventional Radiology, and Stroke teams. Record door-to-end procedure time: ~1 hour on average per patient. All 3 cases completed in around 3 hours!
