Excited to share our new preprint on bioRxiv from our great team @EMBL! biorxiv.org/content/10.110… If the nucleolus is liquid-like, why does it often appear irregularly shaped in proliferating mammalian cells? What controls the nucleolar shape? #PhaseSeparation #Nucleolus

Again I would like to thank Fondazione Pezcoller for inviting me to their 36th Pezcoller Symposium in beautiful Trento. They were warm, pampering and wonderful hosts and science was top notch and delightful. I had fabulous time!

Excited to share our latest story Nature Communications. Here, we used quantitative proteomics, metabolomics and in vitro/in vivo CRISPR screens to define mechanisms of resistance to DHODHi in PDAC and propose combinatorial approaches with BCL-XL inhibitors: nature.com/articles/s4146…

The Role of Micronutrients in ATP (energy) Production Micronutrients, although required in minute quantities, are indispensable catalysts in the metabolic pathways that convert food into energy. These pathways, include glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport

No driver mutations could be identified in 181 tumors. The authors do not know why. Perhaps, it's an algorithmic failure. Perhaps, it reflects non genetic contributions to carcinogenesis. What do you think ?
