Had a great visit to We are CoDA (City of Derby Academy) today as I had the opportunity to talk all things University of Derby to their inquisitive Y11 students. The students raised some super questions and it was brilliant to hear all about their exciting career ambitions. #WPDerby

A brilliant event with Alvaston Moor Academy and Saint Benedict Derby. The students got to explore the campus, take part in engaging workshops and enjoy an inspirational speech from Dr Wykeham Bosworth-Nightingale. #WPDerby

Throwback to the Book Awards Shortlist event with Derby Book Festival last month. Students from schools across Derby attended the University to deliver some fab presentations on their favourite books and were treated to a brilliant talk from children’s author J P Rose. 📚#WPDerby

Had a great day today with Littleover’s Y12 students who took part in our latest TRS event. The students learnt about the importance of metacognition and covered topics including critical thinking, reflection, and research. #WPDerby

We had a great time on stand UCAS at Manchester this week. It was brilliant to speak to so many students interested in pursuing a degree with us University of Derby #WPDerby

It’s been brilliant to be part of Science in the City over the past two days! Students across Derbyshire came onsite and learnt all about the importance of sustainability from our experts academics University of Derby who also rounded off the event with a fab performance at Derby Theatre.

It’s been a pleasure working with our latest primary explorers Creswell Junior. Their Y5 students had the chance to learn all about university, visit us onsite and speak to our current students about their future dream jobs! #WPDerby
