As Kath Pinnock 🔶💙 has consistently said, it is the leaseholders affected by the building safety crisis who are paying for a situation they did nothing to cause.
Excellent reporting from Martina Lees to highlight yet another aspect of this shocking scandal ⬇️
Great to meet campaigning team in Hereford led by Dan Powell for South Herefordshire 🔶 and @hornsey_Ca39010
The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the UN General Assembly, and the UN Security Council all consider Israel to be the occupying power of Gaza.
Lord David Cameron just last month characterised Israel as 'an occupying power in Gaza'.
This Lords Tory Minister disagrees.
Well done SalBrinton today for leading for the Lib Dem on this important motion & on the Victims side of the bill. It was not just the Conservatives voting against this important amendment to reduce the cost of court transcripts for victims it was Labour Lords not voting at all.
We thrilled to announce that Baroness Floella Benjamin OM DBE DL will be awarded the BAFTA Fellowship for her exceptional contribution to television at the #BAFTATVAwards with P&O Cruises on Sunday 12 May ✨
'Her campaigning work and her position as a role model means she has long been regarded as a national treasure.'
Delighted that Floella Benjamin will receive a well-deserved Bafta Fellowship.

It cannot be right that victims of rape and serious sexual assault can be charged thousands of pounds to access the transcripts of their abuser's trial.
We call again for the Justice Secretary to listen and act. Sarah Olney, SalBrinton and others will not give up this fight
Very disappointing that 187 Tory peers this afternoon stopped proposals from Sarah Olney and SalBrinton which would have given victims access to transcripts of sentencing remarks and judges' summaries free of charge.
This is an insult to victims.
🏛️ The Lords is today set to vote on SalBrinton's amendment to the Victims’ Bill.
If passed this would enable all victims to request a transcript of sentencing remarks and judges summing up free of charge.
