Lola, Baroness Young explains why its so important that companies look carefully at their supply chains to ensure communities aren't damaged by bad practices.

'I said: isn't that already a crime? It wasn't.'

When Lola, Baroness Young was asked to put down an amendment to a bill in 2009, she was surprised to learn that forced labour was not illegal at that time.

Her efforts helped lead to the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act in 2015.
