Great news - the Belfast City Council People & Communities Committee meeting tonight has just approved our MOU essentially this means that the ‘pilot’ Middle Trail evaluation has been successfully completed and we are now permanent. It’s taken a while but we have finally got there!

Why has WoodlandTrust erected these signs at Glas-na-Bradan without consulting or speaking to local users who having been using the path to access Cave Hill for years?

In June of we wrote Andrew Muir MLA asking for a meeting to discuss access to Tollymore & other DAERA owned forests. After 3 mths we were disappointed to be refused. Sadly intransigence ignores the risks & regular call-outs by rescue services to help injured mountain bikers.
