One of the reasons I respect men is the fact that a man can be going through a lot and still promise to solve your own problems. If they don't tell you, you'll never know. They bottle up their stress and pain. They say 'it's okay' but deep down, the the burden is heavy.💔😭

I need to remind myself to breathe and step back.

Nigerians are not victims.

The day they decide to act like free citizens of a sovereign state, there is no external interference that will do anything about it.

What they're going through is not oppression.

It's BDSM.

All the posturing is meaningless as the results are in.

A decade after 2015, 's economy is half its pre-Buhari size, Nigerians are poorer, hungrier and less secure.

The least those of us who foolishly voted the man can do is to humbly accept our error and keep quiet!

Something we will learn (someday) in Nigeria is that being 'enlightened' or 'smart' is something that is evidenced by the choices you make everyday, and not merely an identity layer or a brand that you wear to nourish your ego.

Smart people change their minds when they see

A telltale sign of when one is captured by a psy-op is that one is completely unable to process information that one should normally find basic and obvious. In this case, one would happily eat a pair of socks rather than realise and accept that one made a godawful decision when

Buhari convinced them in 2015 by just climbing the podium, coughing three times, shouting Afii cii three times, mixing up the names of his VP candidate and the state he was campaigning in, then being helped to get down from the stage.

Tinubu convinced them in 2023 by rambling

I left the UK and returned to Nigeria to start my career in March 2013. Most of the Nigerian international students I went to uni with had already returned since 2012.

Nearly all of us who came back started planning to escape from Nigeria in 2016. There was only one thing that

Even among those who didn't side with disaster last year, there were still those who insisted on pretending that 2015 was not the most horrendous unforced error in Nigeria’s history. Even 8 years after, they would still not admit that 'GEJ must go' was a psy-op pushed by people

It was witnessing 2015 from inside that made me leave Marketing and move back to Journalism.

Not only because I couldn't believe what my colleagues had just inflicted on Nigeria and on West Africa, but also because I saw these smart, educated, creative, well-traveled colleagues

I didn't know about the Mumbai Coastal Highway before today, but went to do some research.

1. This infographic refers to Phase 1 (of both projects), but incorrectly puts the cost of the full Mumbai Coastal Highway project as the cost of the Phase 1 ($1.6 Billion).
