today's #blocktober post is continuing on the diablo theme from yesterday. we LD's had a small presentation for the rest of our group and i got feedback saying that the paths were a bit too straight and not "diablo enough" so i started working on that! #leveldesign #gamedev #ue4

day 11 of #blocktober is a floating island we had as an assignment a while back. the city layout changed a lot and in the end i put the tallest building in the middle with the shorter around to create some sort of hierarchy structure (not pictured) #leveldesign #gamedev #ue4

Today im sharing a level from our Diablo-copy, It's currently going from a "Rough Blockout" to a "Refined Blockout" The challenging part of this area is that the player has to feel like they are going downwards, which can be hard to convey in a top-down game. #Blocktober

Prototyped a waterwheel for a group project, it operates without any physics! The group project is made in our own custom engine, where we have far fewer visual scripting nodes, so I made this wheel with that in mind. it was a nice challenge! #UE4 #leveldesign #gamedev
