Today im sharing a level from our Diablo-copy, It's currently going from a "Rough Blockout" to a "Refined Blockout" The challenging part of this area is that the player has to feel like they are going downwards, which can be hard to convey in a top-down game. #Blocktober

#leveldesign #blocktober I'm a bit late to the party, but better late than never. A throwback to some old Metal Gear inspired blockouts i made to practice scripting, trying to recreate some of the topdown-stealth mechanics using unreal blueprints (including the Famous box)

Nothing super exciting for todays #Blocktober post. I've been working mostly on AI:s this week. Here is a quick playthrough of my superhot level! The biggest weakness of the level right now is the timing of all enemies, there are many awkward pauses in between combat.

Prototyped a waterwheel for a group project, it operates without any physics! The group project is made in our own custom engine, where we have far fewer visual scripting nodes, so I made this wheel with that in mind. it was a nice challenge! #UE4 #leveldesign #gamedev
