He’s completely correct. A lot of men just enjoy explaining things and pretending that this was an act of misogyny was always nonsense.

Seems like a massive jump to tie cause (best of 5 that’s only played 4 times a year, w days off in between btw) to effect (injuries) when the more likely cause is calendar congestion. If you want to argue against best of 5 that’s ok but the logic has to be more rigorous than this

This is what Grealish is supposed to be. A cult hero at a small/medium sized club. A maverick that has the trust and confidence to create special moments. Dying archetype of footballer.

Few coaches extracted more from their player than Gilles Cervara in his 8 years with Daniil Medvedev. He took a kid with technical limitations & anger/focus issues and made him Grand Slam champion + world No.1. He loved Daniil like a son and was the best thing to happen to him.

NVDA is worth more than the entire DAX because it has more earnings than the DAX ($137 billion vs. $115 billion). Also, the actual companies in the DAX are terrible businesses mostly run by myopic German bumpkins, so if anything the gap should be bigger.

If you play tennis you realise immediately how insanely perfect his closure is. It’s so deep he almost hugs himself. I’ll never not be impressed.

Cliff Drysdale has been a fixture for ESPN broadcasting since 1979. The longest serving commentator on the team. 46 years is incredible longevity, after a very successful playing career. Nice to see him have a good send-off. 84 years young!
