Military is even shooting at innocent children recklessly. Today another 5-year-old and 9-year-old were killed by Military. Not only their future was killed but even lives. It is clearly and more than Crimes against Humanity. #WhatsHapppeningInMyanmar

Junta enjoying a celebratory dinner while innocent civilians are being killed. Their dinner filled with laughters while we’re grieving for the fallen. This is the reality we live in. Where is karma?

Happening Now: The Burmese Army is attacking Day Pu Noh village with airstrikes. This kind of major air strike is the first I can remember in Karen State since 1995. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

The military celebrated Armed Forces Day by committing mass murder against the people it should be defending. The Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) is responding with powerful weapons of peace. It's past time for the world to respond in kind with & for the people of Myanmar.

As a diplomat, I have always supported dialogue, but the Tatmadaw is beyond reason. I see no value in dialogue with them until and unless they recognize they cannot win and make clear they are looking for a way out.

Attached is my statement on the Armed Forces Day massacre in Myanmar - It is well past time to stand with and for the Myanmar people with coordinated international action. tinyurl.com/jrmafdd2 tinyurl.com/7dspk8w2

On Wednesday the UN Security Council should vote to cut the junta's access to funds and weapons and refer their atrocities to the ICC. Myanmar people are not deterred by junta violence. Nations should not be deterred by threats of a UNSC veto. Stand up and be counted. #forceavote

Shocked and angry that the Thai authorities are still blocking aid delivery to Karen civilians fleeing from Burma military airstrikes. We need journalists to report this and government officials to raise this issue with the Thai officials to allow aid delivery to them urgently.

Hey Elon Musk, people in Myanmar have been trying to get your attention. The internet has been shut off by the junta in order to massacre & abduct. People require the emergency use of your Starlink satellite. #KeepitOn #Apr3Coup #WhatsHappeninglnMyanmar youtube.com/watch?v=OLOoik…

WAI MOE NAING: He needs an urgent medical treatment as he was crushed by a car when he was on a motorcycle. He was also reportedly beaten before taken away by Terrorists (#Myanmar security forces). They must allow his family, friends & lawyers to see him.  #Apr15Coup

The junta is stopping all private oxygen tank filling and monopolizing the oxygen supplies during the unprecedented Covid-19 crisis. The junta doesn’t have capacity to provide the healthcare yet they are also interfering the private treatments. The crisis is deepening everyday!

We would like to appeal to international humanitarian organizations including ICRC to check the conditions in prisons inside Myanmar. We are very worried about political prisoners who just staged a protest inside Insein Prison.

The military is the root cause for mounting Covid deaths, growing number of political prisoners, IDPs & other serious human rights violations. Yet, Int'l community has been extremely slow in taking action against the military. While they sit & contemplate, we've lost many lives.
