There is nothing that will sting like the rewriting of Embiid's career. at his best there was nobody better . when Joel Embiid was healthy and playing basketball, he was galaxies better than whatever player you can muster, on BOTH sides of the basketball. its simple, in NBA

I will always hold out hope that Joel has another arc left in his career but if this is really it, I will remember him for the immense joy he provided me on a nightly basis for a near decade despite his body failing him at every turn, and ultimately that is what sports are about.
