Went to an online writing workshop for carers. Wrote a story beginning to end for the first time in forever - an unexpected bit of cnf about killing zombies. Read it to the group. Everyone laughed & said it was really something. Bloody marvellous. I feel several shades brighter.

Elm leaves (cupboard handles), painstakingly handmade from scrap steel by my father. Each one individually hammered and shaped, with bored out bolt collars to the rear and a wax finish. For an elm cabinet. (Because details matter)
