'Darkness of Dragons' rejected by a teacher as a 'book for pleasure and not one to improve for its10 year old reader'. Having read this fab book myself I am wondering what level a 10 year old should be reading at to 'improve'.

11+ done and dusted for another year. Considering students are only 10 years old it is quite the achievement. Factor in the lingering impact of the lockdown and makes their progress and determination to succeed even more impressive.
