8th graders preparing for their Socratic Seminar on The Outsiders while listening to 50s/60s music! I’m excited to hear their insights on the open-ended, debatable questions along with their questions they generate. #RiseAsOne

8th graders did a Gallery Walk with their “The Monkey’s Paw” user manuals in order to leave feedback. They were even able to read the extra credit pages created by their peers by creating a page they believed would be worthy of being in the user manual.

As someone who enjoys playing around with technology, I’m looking forward to trying Classroomscreen this week! I think the various widgets will be super handy, especially since some of them encourage kids to interact with the board. #RiseAsOne
