Daniel Saewitz hmm imo the reason we don't just "obviate the tree" isn't due to micro-optimization; itโ€™s because of the state and network boundary if you treat the app as a flat array of functions, you don't just lose performance you lose the ability to build a cohesive distributed system tbh
