Really great talk by Claire Kerins at the University of Galway CMNHS Future Research Day focusing on how the media in Ireland communicates food poverty and its role in the national discourse. Particularly interesting were the differences in perceived food poverty causes between NI and ROI.

Completely inspired after the Children's Research Network Child and Youth Participation Colloquium. Involving children in research makes findings richer and more impactful - we know this. Benefits aside, children have the right to be involved in all matters that impact them, including research.
