Soil testing with the mountains in the backdrop today. Checking in on one of our recently limed and fertilised paddocks. Love having the sampling points stored in Sirrus!

Interesting article highlighting reasons behind low sheep numbers on the island. Lack of processing options isn't too useful in recent times either and freight costs add up. Keeping options open here, maintaining our shearing sheds and weighing up diversification options.

97mm in February spurring on growth after 9mm in January. These 55yr old pastures are looking great after a fine tune of grazing management, lime and fertiliser. A great photo of the difference splitting up a paddock makes too, achieving high utilisation.

Frequenters of the farm - these White-bellied Sea Eagles are often seen surveying the flats from the pines on this sandy bank. ~ 9km from the east coast

Booming after generous summer rain (242mm since Nov 28) spring sown Advanced AT Phalaris and clover blend. After a dry November start, it is now hitting its straps for a good seed set. @AusWestSPS

Keen to hear recommendations for GPS point recording apps more user friendly than Avenza for both iPhone + Android that sync across devices to keep track of the occurrences and treatments of specific weeds on the property. AgChatOZ WeedSmart 🌱
