Year 12 Economics students presenting during the FBA Year 8 careers week. A big thank you to Aaliyah, Ylberina and Joanna for presenting to the year 8 students at FBA. Topics discussed included studying Economics at A-Level, future study opportunities and career aspirations.

A warm thanks to the CEO of LIFE Education Trust and Executive Head at FBA; Julian Dutnall, for coming by to present and answer questions from the Year 12 FBA Economics students. The topics of focus were the free market, education, and assessing the impact of MATS.

All roads led to Romford yesterday !!! Despite the unpredictable weather yesterday, the penalty challenge between Teachers and Students went ahead. Congrats to Lacey and Team, who, took some stupendous penalties. The real winner was Cancer Research UK. Thanks to everyone.

Fantastic year 9 drop-in session yesterday! Thank you to those that attended. Lots of learning and discussions about the law of demand, by using an article that explained the growing popularity of honeycomb in South Korea and across the world, due to a popular series on Netflix.

Year 11 Economics Taster Lesson 1 An enormously eventful lesson. The year 11s had the opportunity to learn about A-Level Economics at FBA. The students were also challenged to build a bridge using the scarce resources provided to them and consider trading with other teams.

Year 11 Economics Taster Lesson 2 Equally as productive, the second lesson about A-Level Economics at FBA was also a joyful learning experience and the opportunity for students to develop their communication, team building as well as enterprising skills.

We are celebrating International Women's Day #IWD2022. Through education, we are raising awareness to help #BreakTheBias in Economics. Please join us to celebrate this important day. Thank You. Mr Javed.
