The planning permissions for oil exploration at Horse Hill granted in 2012 and 2017 have expired, and the 2019 permission for production was quashed. How come UKOG is still producing oil there? One for Surrey County Council Customer Services enforcement officers to pursue.

Great that planning committee saw through idea that 2 bus stops 100m from Redhill bus station and less accessible cycle access would lead a 30% reduction in car journeys to station. We need a proper plan to make Redhill's transport links better. This was not it.

Redhill Library Temporary Move to The Belfry The current library is moving from its temporary space at Consort House to the Belfry Shopping Centre in the heart of the town during November 2024. It will remain there until it returns to Warwick Quadrant in summer 2025. (1/3)

To enable the set up at the Belfry Shopping Centre, there will therefore be no access to Redhill library at Consort House from 5pm Saturday 9 November until Monday 18 November, when it re-opens in The Belfry Shopping Centre at 9.30am. (2/3)

My reaction to the Budget, on a historic day. There were some welcome announcements, but also huge missed opportunities for fair taxes on wealth, for action on nature-friendly farming and water pollution, and for real investment in public transport.
