A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. RT if you agree 🌳

Absolutely wide spread across the UK and requires serious investigations and redress. 'Government insulation scheme ruined my home' bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotla…

BBC News (UK) If you want a story about mould caused by a Government scheme delivered by a local authority when Labour cabinet member spuriously obtained the contract worth £315k and caused £4m of damage, come to Bridgend. This happened 10 years ago and remains the same in 104 properties still

Kirstie Allsopp We have cavity walls in the UK to prevent the ingress of wind blown rain, as we have a (largely) maritime climate Fill the cavity, and dampness can bridge across the gap First thing you were taught on any construction course in the 80's

TheCollator Andrew Lomax Contractors just finished removing our cavity insulation, it was sopping wet, no wonder my house has lots of mould, so much still to do, bloody hard work isn't it John

Forgive me for banging on about this, but #Gas prices have fallen another 8% today. They are back to levels of 5 years ago! Yet we’re paying 5 times as much! Ofgem do your job. OVO SSE - A Better World of Energy Cut your prices!

Martin Roberts All the houses in my street had it put in, over 20 years ago. A total disaster, all ended up with horrendous damp issues. Had to fight to get it taken out, which most of us have now done. Damp damage we have to pay to sort out.

Severn Trent and United Utilities to hand £550m to shareholders. Profits made by picking people's pockets, dumping sewage in rivers. Directors get bonuses for boosting profits by dumping sewage. Let people sue companies/directors for creating hazards. thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/…

Do you think it’s time for us to speak up en masse about the fact that we *do not* want any MPs to have any links to private healthcare? No donations, no earnings, no accepting expensive hospitality? There’s a strength of feeling here which even I hadn’t anticipated.

Jane Real Media Insulate Britain That expensive polystyrene insulation injected into cavity walls has caused endless damp problems in the Westcountry. It bridges the gap and driven rain on south-west facing walls reaches internal walls. I have had leaks for 20 years and it's expensive to remove the insulation.
