2024: "Don't waste time adding dark mode to your app, it will suck up too much developer/designer time!!" 2026: "Claude Code just added dark mode to my app in 15 minutes after one prompt..."

I had set up Marvin the OpenClaw agent recently, with one of his tasks being to watch our support queue for high priority tickets to bring to our attention, but he has turned into somewhat of a support coach with regular positive updates for our team! Unexpected AI side effect.

I built bespoke apps for customers for decades. A few that were used for 20+ years. Far from bloated or confusing, it usually did one thing well, *exactly* to fit the customer's use case. No one else, just that one customer. The exact opposite of a SaaS product, which I do now.

Was getting frustrated spending 15 seconds running bash scripts for automating code diffing and deployment, so I wrote a Claude Code slash command to do the same. Now I wait 4 or 5 minutes for it to do the exact same thing, AND charge me $$$ for the privilege...

This tiny, long 12.5" screen is the perfect external instrument panel for my flight sim hobby. Thinking of using it as some sort of dashboard or telemetry display when I am not flying... What should I ask OpenClaw to build for it?? Any suggestions?

Just finished a late night town hall meeting with the whole team to refine our values and mission, and as usual, I am too amped up and excited to be able to sleep after so many good vibes and enthusiasm... Might work on some coding... 😆

I had put off the major modernisation of our SaaS UI front end for years because it was such a mammoth task, but AI now makes that job a matter of a few days work, instead of months... Nothing scrubs through 60K+ LOC to do the boring things better...

It would seem that my daily Claude Code CLI token usage has dropped by around 75% after implementing the claude-mem plugin?!? No degradation in skills or extra hallucinating or going down rabbit holes either...

Founders with small dev teams: What is a good metric/KPI to ensure consistent performance? I feel the "no. of commits" is no better than LOC, so what is the best indicator of productivity (or more importantly, slow decline thereof)?

We have indeed come full circle... I remember when "it's compiling and/or linking" was a great excuse to goof off and do something different for quite a while. Then Borland brought out the Turbo compilers and you didn't have time to sneeze!

Devan's AI Law: Every Youtube video you see promoting OpenClaw🦞 in some way is just a thin veneer for a blatant Hostinger affiliate promotion... youtube.com/watch?v=FM5-R4…

I am having a hard enough time getting AI to stay focused just upgrading the front end of my large(ish) SaaS. I don't think AI could ever code it all from scratch, ever. And multiple agents? That is as controllable as unleashing a bunch of kids in an ice cream shop!
