These short stories will make you laugh and cry. Excellent bed-time reading! Get them on Amazon, ebook or paperback. It’s worth it!

Only Nick Robinson could reduce what might have been an informative interview with Sunak to a serious of meaningless sound bites and subjective ad hoc quotes. There is a world of holding someone to account and just trying to trip them up.

Parody RCGP Yes and having worked in rural remote Far North Queensland the often severely disadvantaged and neglected Native Australian aboriginal population have significant unmet mental health and many other health needs.

We all know the NHS - the last of the great nationalised industries - is a failing systems. There is no reason why civil servants should be able to run it - they know little about it.Ministers tinker ineffectually at the fringe. When will we learn from other health care systems?

If anyone needs cheering up today Michael Gove's Easyjet flight from Athens was delayed by 30 hours because of Brexit travel chaos.

If 15-20% of hospital beds are occupied by those that don’t need to be in them, freeing up those beds by giving money to social care will not cost the NHS anything, but allow those beds to be used appropriately to deal with waiting lists. True?

Is there any chance that the chatterers on the radio and in the press could talk about something interesting, rather than what Truss might or might not do? We will all find out in due course, and their opinions and guesses are as boring as they are irrelevant.

People who are terminally ill or suffering incurably, should not for forced into making unimaginable choices. Without #AssistedDying legislation, the Government is forcing people to take matters into their own hands. Where is the #AsssistedDying inquiry?

The ban on assisted dying is prolonging dying people’s suffering. Dying people can be in constant, unbearable pain, even with excellent care, and need to be given the choice of an assisted death. #YesToDignity

Home Secretary gone for breaking the rules. PM’s advisor ‘suspended’ inappropriate leaks. PM a wooden Pinocchio puppet, blowing in the wind. How much more do we need? Or take?

Honestly - you’d have thought that Liz Truss could leave gracefully, without calling down a torrential rainstorm on us all. The streets are flooded. I suppose it’s really due to Boris - apres moi le deluge, and all that.

Tim Howard (@drtimghoward) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is one of the surest signs of madness. Supporters of Boris, please note. Especially his arch acolyte, Jacob Rees-Mogg, who has one of the shallowest minds ever seen in British politics.

Tim Howard (@drtimghoward) 's Twitter Profile Photo

As Jacob Rees Mogg was so catastrophically wrong in everything he said about Liz Truss, why should anyone take any notice of what he says now about Boris. Learning from your mistakes is an important skill, Jacob. One you seemingly have not taken on board.

William Keegan (Observer today) says he ‘meets people who compare the UK economy now to Argentina’s ‘one of the largest in the world’ in 1900.’ In fact, Argentina’s was only 19th then, with a GDP of £7.2m, compared with the UK GDP then of £350m. Hardly well informed people.

This storyline highlights the financial inequality that can drive people to take desperate measures- which is why My Death, My Decision calls for safe, legal #AssistedDying legislation in the UK - we should not be outsourcing compassion to Switzerland. bit.ly/47jeaDt

What God would want us kept alive in agony? Not mine thetimes.co.uk/article/2ef908…. Great comment piece. It’s honest and personal and I fully agree. I support assisted dying because of my faith.
