Thanks naureen bhatti. Moments like this remind me of all those doctors from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds that came before us, giving a lifetime of selfless commitment and sacrifice to the #NHS. They paved the way for us with little acknowledgement. They are my heroes.

This has now gone to the RCGP with over 1100 signatories, collected in less than 48 hours, showing the strength of feeling. The letter will remain open till Sunday to allow others to sign if they want and a final list of signatories will be sent to the college on Monday morning
