Despite the long hours of fellowship & continuously keeping up with my health, I do absolutely love it here in NYC. My organ donor had written a note to herself which her family had recently sent to me. “Every day is a new day. Take a deep breath, smile, and start again.”

Your destiny is too important to spend it with people that are not making you better. Who are you allowing to influence you? Are they inspiring you, challenging you, pushing you forward?

Matt Hancock can test & trace please distinguish between pre and post mortem results! My mother really doesn’t need harassing 12 days after my dad’s death due to his 10 days post mortem covid result...a little compassion maybe??

Dear Iberostar I am currently staying at lanzarote park with my young family and tonight I am fuming. This is the entrance to the main restaurant at 6pm tonight when we took our 3yr old and 5yr old for dinner… long thread incoming 1/7

Not only did we have to carry our young children through a darkened area lit with a red light as they clung to us crying and shaking. But my 3yr old was grabbed by a zombie figure whilst we were screamed at by the exorcist girl. 2/7 Iberostar

They were too scared to settle and eat dinner so my partner and I ate as quickly as we could with a child on each of our laps. 3/7 Iberostar

My 3yr old then needed a wee and so had to be carried out through the same door to the toilets in the foyer as there was no other choice. And then back in again to finish trying to eat. 4/7 Iberostar

The managers response when we told him how inappropriate this is for a family hotel with plenty of young children about- ‘nobody else has complained’ 6/7 Iberostar

Yes it’s Halloween and some people like to be scared but frankly the fact we were forced to walk through with our young children is unacceptable. There was no other choice and no acknowledgement that we might not want to be grabbed or screamed at 7/7 Iberostar
