As Todd Kashdan points out: self-help books are not very helpful (toddkashdan.substack.com/p/most-self-he…). My recommendation on using those sorts of materials is to tailor the information to you and your life (youtube.com/watch?v=PZrw78…).

I expect much more of this. People will lose a lot of money on AI. All of this was predictable. Nobody wanted to listen, and still doesn't want to. Everyone was blindsided by undervaluing predictability in tech, as we have never had unpredictable tech before.

Thrilled to finally have this paper officially out! Across eight samples (n=2k+), we find that having a larger strategy repertoire can benefit goal attainment. We also discuss challenges with measuring repertoire and flexibility more broadly. w/Raymond Wu J. Gross & Malte Friese

Finally, starting to MEASURE the effects of LLMs on the brains. It's not good. Claims they make you able to think better, learn better, reason better are only that, claims. Measurement shows the opposite. arxiv.org/pdf/2506.08872… linkedin.com/posts/jiunn-ty…
