Today I rec'd my first response from a specialist stating that due to caps on daily patient visits, they cannot accommodate my urgent referral. If I had a patient describe a personal rel'tship where they were treated by their partner the way AB docs are treated by Tyler Shandro & United Conservative Party of Alberta, I'd advise them to leave, seek counselling & possible restraining order. Today I accessed the AB health care system as a pt w/my son. We rec'd 👍👍care - special thx to radiology in Red Deer. AB docs are fighting to care 4 pts despite a gov't that is sabotaging our system. I'm proud to be a part of this team- hoping United Conservative Party of Alberta doesn't destroy it.

Our rural ER was just notified that Red Deer cannot accept any Covid pt for ICU. They've officially reached their max. All pt will be sent to Edmonton or Calgary. Our nightmare is happening.

Patients are asking for vaccine exemption letters for exactly the reasons why they should get vaccinated. "I have a ❤️ condition" "I'm immune compromised" Those reasons are why you need the protection of the vaccine! 🧐🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't promote vaccination for secondary gain. To me it's not political, economic or about freedom. I'm just truly tired of seeing so much suffering. I want my pt's vaxxed so I don't have to watch them suffer with this horrible disease.

Had a patient recently ask for a mask exemption, vaccine exemption and seatbelt exemption in the same visit. I asked if they'd like a parachute exemption as well for the next time they jump from an airplane. They didn't find it funny. I did. 😅

I am a board certified immunologist. My wife is a pediatric ER physician. I've followed #COVID vaccine data in teens & adults, read Pfizer safety/efficacy data in 5-11 year olds & listened to FDA discussion We will vaccinate our 8 & 11 year old children w confidence & gratitude

It's been a tough 18 months as a HCW. Seeing so much suffering, division & anger towards HCWs has been so disheartening. Came out of work today to find this on my windshield (and my colleagues). Thank u to the precious child that left this 🥰🥺 #lovemycommunity #cryinginmycar
