Empty promises like this have sadly reinforced I made the right decision in closing my family practice. It was not a decision I wanted to make, but with the current state was one I felt I had to make. With announcements like this I’d expect more closure as we can’t wait anymore

It greatly disheartens me, but at this point in time I would NOT advise any docs to continue practicing longitudinal FM in AB. Govt is not going to invest to make that type of practice viable. Do ANYTHING else… you have so many options. Our govt simply does not value FM
