(corrected) This is quite a blow to the notion that identifying scar on MRI would predict ICD benefit in patients w non-ischemic heart failure. It does not. H/t Edward J Schloss MD The evidence right now is that an ICD does not reduce mortality in NICM Period. Guidelines should be changed
