Another week done in the NHS where my embodiment of Kelly G Wilson @kellygenewilson @threads’s slow is fast, fast is slow mantra pays off. Seeing a lot of PR spin and celebration from politicians, healthcare leaders and academics about the new #NHSWorkforcePlan . Sadly the reality is that it doesn’t even come close to matching the experience and needs of those on the frontline #nhs #recruitment #retention

This 15 year workforce plan is not fully funded. The £2.4bn for new training doesn't cover the increased salaries - there is a huge revenue bill the NHS will need funding as these roles come through. The plan is more aspiration than a plan of how it will be done #NHSWorkforcePlan
