I have never had someone pick up a heavy chair and throw it at me across a full ER waiting room, including children. This is a graphic reminder of what happens when our society and policy makers neglect housing, addictions, mental health services and social supports.

Today, Bill 60 moves closer to being made law. The Conservatives have created a crisis in health care in order to push for more private, for-profit clinics. They refused to consult with communities or front-line workers. I'm always going to stand up for public health care.
