Ten years today since Scotland made (in my opinion) a catastrophically bad decision to reject Independence. I think the last decade has given countless examples as to why we should have voted differently. It is still only a matter of time, and I do hope I get to see that day.

As an aside, I assume that the decision by Avanti West Coast to lay on a series of Pride-themed carriages to take people back from a Reform UK conference is entirely coincidental.

Disappointing. They should have won. Mistakes at crucial times meant Ulster were still in it, and took their chances. Plenty in that performance to feel good about though.

Quite disgusted that many people from the train industry are flying from Paris, London, Brussels, or even Amsterdam to #InnoTrans2024 in Berlin. You don’t even respect your own business 🥲🤢

1. Could we stop saying "natural gas"? It sounds almost wholesome, but it's one of the most potent drivers of climate breakdown. The term is a. meaningless b. fails to properly to distinguish it from other sources. The obvious alternative is "fossil gas" or fossil methane". 🧵

A forest of questions: take our quiz on the Cure! 15 out of 20. Not bad, but feel annoyed about a couple of the wrong answers theguardian.com/music/2024/oct…
