I'm a landlord. At one time I thought I would build a portfolio of rentals. I absolutely cannot stand it and can't wait to sell and never do it again. No liquidity, high fees, and lots of headaches. Some people are cut out for it. I am absolutely not.

Can’t invest $500/month? Ok invest $100. Can’t do that? Try $50. If that’s too much, do $10! Anything is better than nothing!

I considered buying a Lexus RX 350 this week for $24,995 but it was over my budget for now so I passed on it. YOUNGER ME COULD HAVE NEVER! 🥹

Getting out of debt requires you to be tired of your own shit. There is no person, no product, no anything that is going to motivate you to start the journey and be consistent on the journey but you being tired of your own shit!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you don’t need your boyfriend’s, bae’s, situationship’s, husband’s, or any other romantic partner’s permission to start pursuing financial independence. If he wants to work until he dies, that’s his problem, not yours.

Starting with small consistent action means more than going hard af one week and then taking 3 months off.

A lot of y’all want financial freedom, but you aren’t willing to make the necessary sacrifices to get there.
