Great discussion with The New Statesman Praful Nargund @donyiasc Multiverse about how we can enable SMEs to take advantage of apprenticeships. Labour will fix the failed skills legacy of the Conservatives that’s held local people, communities, businesses and our country back.

Just caught PM's interview on Jimmy's Jobs. His comparison of the AI wave and impact on jobs to the miner's strike was interesting. As he said, a thoughtful approach will be needed to ensure the transition is managed sensitively. Equity in this case is key!
Our message at this year's The Labour Party conference was clear and urgent: TRAIN YOUR WORKERS. As AI changes how we work, this is no longer just a recommendation. It's an economic necessity. 1/5
