Today is a very special day in Foundation history! 10 years ago, we reached out to our very first family! Our goal to #Helpkidsofcancerpatients was officially underway and we cannot thank you all enough for allowing us to share this with you!

Met with the social workers at a hospital in Rhode Island earlier today. Much like the Connecticut experience each social worker grew up with a parent diagnosed with cancer. It was very emotional but we have our hospital and several therapists already in place!

Tomorrow marks the 27th anniversary of Doreen's passing. That Will always make it a difficult day, but her foundation turns 12 tomorrow as well, and I am incredibly grateful for these last 12 years and all the families I've had the honor to meet! #Helpkidsofcancerpatients

During my week in Denver, one of the foundation kids mentioned I look better with the beard rather than clean shaven. I've had a beard a good deal of this year, but just wasn't in the mood for it now, so a moustache will have to do! #Helpkidsofcancerpatients
