The Australian government has quietly released the map of mass coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef this summer, confirming that the 5th event in just 8 years is the most severe & the most widespread ever.

This time, only the far north has escaped.

Across Southern Africa -the worst on record. Global heating has turned these bread basket regions into areas that now require food aid to feed their populations. There's hardly a grain in the fields and the water resources have disappeared. Malnutrition is widespread

Every tiny-scale coral ‘restoration’ project on the Great Barrier Reef has been destroyed or severely damaged this summer due to anthropogenic heating.

Qantas is pulling your leg, so they can keep polluting while pretending to care about environmental damage.

The is experiencing its 5th coral die-off in 8 years.

It’s terrible. theconversation.com/the-great-barr…

But it’s really lovely to hear instead from Australian government agencies about an underwater loudspeaker that attracts fish larvae to concrete blocks.

Roger Hallam James Edward Hansen David Spratt Even if we get through this El Nino event, without it triggering a catastrophe, what about the next one, and the next one after that?

I just don't understand these optimists saying it will be back to normal after this El Nino event. There's something wrong with their judgement.
