To put things into perspective for I have approx 12 +/- acres of grass around my place, normal year I get 30-40 some bales off it for first cutting, fertilized heavily every year, last year I was disappointed with 22 bales because of drought but this year... 7.5 bales

We had 1 field of that appraised out 53 bpa on May 1. The rest was zeroed out.

This is that field after an unseasonably hot & dry May/June. Sold it to a cow/calf operation for feed.

This is the 1st time we have lost all our to drought since dad started in 1960
