Today marks the 59th anniversary of the lowering of the Florida Keys' iconic Christ of the Deep statue! On August 25th, 1965, the statue was placed in 25 feet of water off the coast of Key Largo. It remains a popular dive and snorkel destination. #diving #history #FLKeys
