I love public libraries because they are built on the principle that books are so important and so necessary to human flourishing that access to them cannot depend on your income.

Absurdity - if libraries were really trying to "indoctrinate" students, would they really buy a few books and make them voluntary reading and then put them within a collection of 15,000 other books? Most inefficient method ever.

Librarians follow district policies to select materials that represent a wide range of views on controversial issues. Building well-rounded libraries is part of our jobs.
