This is the second time in two weeks a government minister has wilfully misrepresented the Labour in Labour Party as meaning a commitment to work itself instead of the interests of workers. Tedious.

Watched an excellent film from the 80's last night, that I had never heard of before, The Ploughman's Lunch by Ian McEwan directed by Richard Eyre starring Jonathan Pryce, links Suez, Falklands & selfishness of Thatchers Britain.

So, despite all we've learned, despite the Perry family's pain, despite the clear ethical contradiction, Keir Starmer has chosen to nod through Amanda Spielman's peerage. The same Amanda Spielman whose leadership at Ofsted corroded trust and dehumanised educators...

Two of the strongest predictors of suicide? Financial precarity—and being made to feel like a failure. Labour’s #DisabilityBenefits cuts risk both. This isn’t reform. It’s reckless harm. #WelfareNotWorkfare

So. In Canada: The governing Party changed its unpopular leader! Refused to bend the knee to Trump! Rallied the country behind a call for econ change! And Came from 20 points behind to win the election!! Makes you think!!!

Labour leadership saying the party will go further and faster in the same direction. They don’t seem to understand that, it is our current direction that is the problem

It's not a Nigerian care worker, a Filipino nurse or a Polish builder making your life a misery. It's the politician who tells you to point the finger elsewhere while they have their foot on your neck.

Can you imagine this man making the speech Keir Starmer made today ? Can you imagine him cutting winter fuel allowance for pensioners? Can you imagine him keeping the two child cap? Can you imagine him shafting the WASPI women?

Love this righteous anger Absolutely right - Labour voters don’t want hate mongering on migration. We want Labour to take care of the elderly & disabled in our society. Labour is losing because of their cuts. & kicking migrant care workers is all they have to make up for that.
